Going Diving tonight.... whooohooo

gotta love a mid week dive! kinda helps forget about work and other pains when you can look forward to a Dive (even if its only in the Lake here, still getting out!)

anyways if anyone is interested, the Okanagan Dive club is having their Monthly meeting at the lake (Ellison Park) and we are having a Dive/Social/Meeeting there.

Starts around 6:00pm tonight at the South bay

Please tell me you guys can drive down the sideroad and don't have to hike your gear down. I'm from Vernon originally, but have yet to dive there. Might have to pop back sometime and go for a quick dip.

I will try and let people know a bit more in advance when the next club dive is. I know that there is a Dive in June that is planend as a weekend of Camping and Diving.... (I believe its going to be at Fintry.) I will post more info as it gets closer. Last year the Dive club even brought out their compressor for fills.


Hey Sean, the OK Dive club members can get the key for the gate and drive right to the beach. Otherwise we drive to the gate and hoof it about 100m to the picnic tables.

I just heard that there is a dive happening this weekend also, not sure when or where... I'll pass on more info as I find out more
