Hi,
I've spent hours trying to ID this Goby from the Philippines. Any input on species or good books are greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
// Magnus;

Identifying gobies is a sure fire way to drive yourself nuts! They vary in colour and markings by location and probably interbreed as well causing other variations. In this case I go for Amblyeleotris rubrimarginata - sometimes called the Red-margin Shrimp Goby.

Thanks!

BTW, brilliant photo of the Wolf fish at the crab dentist...

Thanks,
// Magnus;
