The first of the Grey Nurse Sharks for their season have arrived at my local dive site of Julian Rocks, Byron Bay, Australia.

One day there wasn't any and the next day we had the most sharks that I have seen out there in years. About all of them adult males in excellent condition.

Here are few of my first shots of them with my Nikon D90 and sigma 17-70mm. My lens of choice is the 10-17mm Tokina as I can fit the whole animal in and its alot quicker than the Sigma.

Thanks. Just reconfirms my desire (and need?) to return to Byron Bay in the not too distant future.

Yeah, we need to figure out when we can get back to Australia . . . Thanks, as always, AussieByron, for sharing your shots!
