Question to more experienced divers. I have a new 5 mil Neosport Xspan suit and wanting to add pockets. Is it a good idea to glue a pouch or not. If so what type of glue? Or should I just take my BC to the sew shop and have pouches stitched to it… or even a zipper stitched so I can have removable pouches… Im doing all this because I was a cheapo and bought an oceanic ocean pro but when I realize… hey my pockets don't hold anything... its too late… open for suggestions...:acclaim:

Stitched. Coat the stitches with aqua seal if you're worried about water coming through. I had mine done at a cobbler.

Definitely stitched if you can get it sewn for a reasonable price and expertly done. You can also buy pocket shorts like the discussion in this thread. Or, they make pockets like this that you might be able to clip to your BCD. (I find that XS Scuba products like the one in the link can't make it past 1 year of service before they are shredded though.)

That's what I was leaning towards. I have seen how people do it but I know I would screw it up somehow and damage a new wetsuit. And then finding myself testing the strength of a brick wall with my head repeatedly. Thanks for the advice
