Hi. I live in New England, and despite being near the water, have only dived here a couple of times. Not all that fond of cold, or low visibility.

My wife and I got certified on our honeymoon, 17 years ago. I have only been in about 10 times since. Last year, I did 4 dives with my daughter with a divemaster in St. Kitts. She enjoyed it so much that I thought I should get her certified (I wouldn't mind getting some fresh instruction either).

We have a window in early March to spend 5 full days in the Florida Keys (Key Largo Area). I was hoping to find recommendations here for best teaching shops in the area. If possible, I would like her to do PADI on line, and then she could get Open Water, and maybe advanced in five days. I could get advanced after tagging along with her. Who knows, maybe I could learn about Nitrox.

Some shops don't do PADI on line (smarter?). Essentially I'd like to have a personal, enjoyable and thorough operation. We are willing to pay extra to avoid crowds and discomfort. Hoping to find reviews and recommendations here. If it is OK, I will post a similar request for recommendations, in another forum.

I look forward to getting back into SCUBA diving, and get to move somewhere where it is more practical.

Nice to meet you folks.

Welcome to the board Rupp!

If you take a look in the regional forums you should be able to find some information on operators to use when in the Keys.

Welcome to SB. Cave Diver gave you good advice. Got to the Florida forum and do some searches to pull of more information than just what is immediately posted.

Good luck and have fun.
