Sarawak, Borneo - heading to Sabah East coast Jan

Hi All,
Just joined the forum and wanted to see if anybody had experience of diving in and around North Palawan and Coron in the Philippines? Its supposed to be full of WWII wrecks, great viz and plenty of large pelagic action. My wife Scuba Sarah and I are thinking of heading that way on our sailing boat (after the typhoon season ends Nov).

We are currently in Miri, Sarawak Borneo after several months of conducting reef surveys all around the coast of Sabah in Northern Borneo - and let me tell you folks, its a disaster around there! every reef is bombed and blasted to hell, apart from SIMCA and Sipadan marine parks (both very small areas really). We need to find a good place to hang out in Asia for a few months where the diving is exceptional, so please let us know your thoughts.

Cheers Dave.

I have no idea but welcome to the forum:cool2:We love Aussies

Hi Farsidefan1,
Thanks for the welcome - you know how it is when you first join these things. you drift around looking at blogs, other peoples profiles and checking out their friends - feels like your being a stalker or something. Happy to say not an Aussie, even better a KIWI - go the All Blacks.
