As divers we regularly encounter lost fishing nets, and other fishing gear on the wrecks we visit. In The Netherlands there is an initiative that strives to clean those nets, lines and wights from the wrecks. We know there are other teams doing the same thing in other places. Ghostfishing.org aims to collect information on those teams to help share knowledge and techniques or even to collaborate in cleanup projects.
