I go to Aruba all the time and they allow you to get tested in the Aruba Airport when you arrive. Does Roatan do that or do you have to get tested 3 days before you arrive? Thanks. Aruba Bob

I have a trip scheduled for 7/24 to roatan. Our travel agent just said a test 3 days prior to arrival and another test as we leave

Honduras recently changed their entry requirements to exclude a negative test. You will however need a negative test 3 days prior to re-entry into the United States.

You can complete your entry precheck here:
https://prechequeo.inm.gob.hn

From the US Embassy:
COVID-19 Information | U.S. Embassy in Honduras

Is a negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) required for entry?
  • Effective June 2, 2021, The Government of Honduras has updated its requirements for entry into the country. All travelers must still complete the online pre-check form, but fully vaccinated individuals with their original vaccination certificate are no longer required to provide proof of a negative COVID test upon entry in Honduras.

Post #6 is the correct answer. We went in May before the requirements changed and had to show documentation of a negative test to get on the plane and then again at the Roatan airport. No longer needed.

But you do need to do the precheck paperwork. The system is a bit challenging so give yourself time. There are some online guides to help you.

Our test for coming back into the states was done at Anthony's.

You cannot start the prechequeo form until 2 days prior to your arrival--e.g. Thursday for a Saturday arrival.
