Hi wondering if anyone can tell me if they use jetways or stairs to deplane at Bonaire airport?? And if stairs do they roll a second set to the rear of the plane and allow you out that way too???

Will be my first trip to Bonaire, I usually go to Roatan where you can deplane from the back so I always book my seats at the rear of the plane, wondering if I should use same strategy for Bonaire

We fly United nonstop from Newark and they’ve always used front and rear stairs.

Enjoy !

no jetways there

It makes no difference when you deplane. The bags take forever.
And the plane is a lot cooler.

I agree with Tursiops. Luggage is always the the limiting factor getting out of Flamingo Airport. Besides, last row seats put you right next to the toilets with a line up of people in the aisle.

We use your strategy when deplaning on Bonaire......book seats at the rear of the plane and exit out the rear of the plane...

Is all this hurry because you want to squeeze in the marine park orientation and checkout dive before the shop closes? That would make sense—it’s what we do when our flight arrives on time. Otherwise, just relax and start adjusting to “island time.” It’s what we do when our flight arrives late.

If your asking me...we do it so we don't have spend alot of time hung up in the middle of the plane....I'd rather be standing in line in the Bonaire sunshine and trade winds....different strokes for different folks I guess...
