Woman diver overwhelmed by seas at Gozo bay
A German diver drowned off Gozo after finding herself in difficulties, the second victim of the day.

Police said the 55-year-old was assisted on site but she passed away. She was diving at il-Kantra, off Mġarr ix-Xini

Investigations are still under way.

On Tuesday morning, the Gozo Channel ferry was forced to operate via the Comino route due to the choppy seas.

On Tuesday, the rough seas claimed another victim - an 85-year-old man in Żurrieq - while a 40-year Briton was rescued by the AFM.
