What is the GEO 2's log capacity? The marketing blurb says 24 dives but then goes onto say 512K of 'OceanLog memory'.

24 dives is not enough for (say) a 10 day dive trip. Does it mean only the 24 most recent dives are 'viewable' on the device but that many more available for download?

Thanks.

My OC1 lists more than 24 dives available for download. At 1M memory and a 15s sampling rate, the OC1 can store 50-60 hours, which is about what is listed on the download screen (about 40 dives of an hour and change).

According to the Geo 2 data sheet.....

1mb storage capacity, and with a 30 second sampling rate can store up to 50 hours of diving.

Can't confirm or deny because I've only got a few dives on mine so far.
