Logic Dive Gear will hold a demo day Saturday, August 9th at Meeks Bay Beach on Lake Tahoe (National Forest beach, not the resort beach just to the north)

The Gate opens at 8:00 and we'll start diving around 9:00 and go until all the batteries are all drained. Water temp is typically low 60's in the shallows and low 50's deeper. Day use parking fee is $8-$10 Sign up at Dolphin Scuba to reserve a spot. $10 gets you two air fills or two tanks rentals, BBQ lunch and raffle entry.

How was it?

We had 20-25 divers show up. A couple of them were customers taking their new scooters out for the maiden voyage. The most often heard comment was how easy it was control the speed. No multiple trigger clicking or missed shifts and no stopping to adjust the propeller pitch, causing the divers to become separated. A few folks went straight to full speed and started doing loops and barrel rolls while laughing through their regulators. Those divers with a narrow crotch strap tended to run at more normal speeds and appreciated how slow it would go, when they wanted to pick through the rocks, looking for the monster crawdads they have in that lake.

Cheers.

Nice!

Of course now they're starting to get itchy trigger fingers and looking for ways to finance a new scooter.

When I was diving my Genesis with other who were diving X-Scooters, I had a blast being able to smoothly accelerate around the outside of shoulder to shoulder turns and then slide the throttle down to match their speed exactly.
