I'm curious how well dive computers generally hold resale value?
Obviously there are factors like the durability, longevity, and popularity of a particular brand and model... but generally?
(Background: I can get a Mares Icon HD Black with the AI transmitter for $600. It's an open box deal where someone returned it to the store.
I'm curious if I buy it and find I don't like it or it doesn't do something I need in 3 months because I'm a new diver... will I be able to recoup at least some of my loss? Especially if I get it at such a good price.)
