Geko Sept 23 - 29?

By chance, is anyone else here going to be at Geko Diving in Padang Bai (Bali) Sept 23 - 29 and wants to go to Crystal Bay to try for mola-mola?

They have to have three minimum. OK Divers requires six.

We stayed in Candidasa in October and wanted to do Manta Point.The dive shop arranged for us to go on a dive boat that is organized via a WhatsApp group. The boat wasn’t great , it stunk of sick and I really would not recommend it. We waited ages at Padang Bai for people from Ubud and by the time we got to Manta Point it was chockablock with boats. Needless to state the Mantas had all disappeared , but a baby eagle ray hung with us in the current for ages. Because the rest of the boat were either snorkellers or people finishing or just finished their OW, we didn’t get to Crystal Bay at all because of the conditions.

We may have been unlucky , but we have always had excellent trips to NP from Padang Bai , at least as good or even better than when we stayed on Lembongan. The owners of Absolute are really nice so if the Geko trip is not looking likely , ask them to let you know if they are going.
