I try to go diving 3 days each week (usually 1 dive each of those days) so in between I clean my gear off, dry it, then put it in the back of my Pickup Truck (camper shell - so no direct sunlight) to await the next trip. This includes BCD's, Fins, Mask, Wetsuits, Boots, Tanks regs etc.. My question is about how the heat is affecting my gear. I know sunlight is bad, how about the heat? Afternoons the bed of my truck gets about 100* in the house it will be about 85* on average for both.

Comments - should I be taking the gear into the house for storage?

btw - the tank pressure usually rises to 3400psi (al80) and cools off to 3100 by the time I descend. So I know they are under more pressure than recommended.

Aloha, Tim
