Gear Stolen at LJ Shores 1/12/24 AM

Staged my gear by the seawall, returned 10 minutes later and gone.

Dive Xtras Piranha "P-1" serial# 00194
GoPro Hero 8 and light attached to scooter
19 cuft Luxfer pony with pelantic regulator

Any info greatly appreciated with reward if recovered.

Plenty of buildings with security cameras in that area, you might get lucky if you check around. Kind of obvious hauling a scooter unless they pulled up to the bathrooms and put it in a vehicle. I have heard of so many people getting stuff stolen by the seawall area or off the grass area over the years that I wouldn’t leave a pair of socks out there without keeping an eye on them. Tough lesson on this one as that gear is not cheap. Inform the local dive shops and keep an eye on the classified ads.

Check the Lifeguard tower as well. Someone could have thought it was abandoned. The Lifeguard tower has a lot of dive gear that was found there.

That sucks
