Just requested my ETA! Yeah.. Got my tickets in the mail this week. Now for the pre-packing planning part. (This is important because I won't be home much between now and Feb 8th which is when I leave.

Getting to Sydney will be an adventure in itself, since I have a 1 day layover in Canton, China. But I'm very excited. The tix to get me there are free...But the visas cost money. :11:

Almightywife, I'm reading up on Sydney now... I'll get a better idea of where we are staying in a few days.

Hey Mike, Taka still look good for the 12th? I think that will be our best bet other than day trips. No sailing for us. Not by BF's style. He's into boats with muscle. Sailboats make him nuts... We're both pretty experienced divers. We dive at home off of our own boat whenever the seas are good locally. We've even done night dives from our own boat here. We prefer to dive with experienced divers that are more at ease.

Gidday DN

Weather side of things, sunny skies but high windy"s.

Regards Andy

Just realized from another post that you have an office at the Sebel Harbour lights?

That's where we'll be staying. I guess I have no choice but to stop and say "hi" now!:rofl3:

I realize that there are plenty of choices for diving so I feel better about waiting!

Glad to here we will be catching up soon. You have made an excellent selection for accommodation. New, close to everything and some excellent restaurants to taste the local cuisine.Check out Dundee's Seafood restaurant website for somewhere good to eat.

Weather today and over the weekend has been scorching... 37 - 38 cent. Winds have come down and some excellent diving to be had. Have had some really interesting people from all over the world around for the last few days. Some finishing trips and showing us marvelous photo's, others just starting.

Maybe DN... when u get here you can show me how you put that tricky clock countdown on your profile.

From a diving side of things, xmas and new year is over and town has gone very quiet. We got some great dive pricing on Saturday, and as stated previously please relax, you will definately not miss the boat. I promise to keep a very close eye on it 4 u.... cannot have my reputation tarnished, and if I think there is any risk to harming what will be a great time I will let you know.

Tick Tock Tick Tock..... not long to go

Regards Andy

The Hotel looks amazing and you can't get a better location! Right on the water by the Marina! I think we can throw our dive gear from the balcony into the boat! :rofl3:
