I have a business trip coming up in New Cal and I'll be finished towards the end of Mar, but the exact date really depends on how the project progresses. I plan on taking a 3-week vacation right after so realistically, I can only book with about 1-2 weeks notice.

How easy is it to find a last-minute trip in around April? And what are the prices like? I searched on Divers Den as a gauge and it would appear that a lot of spaces are still open from Apr 1 to 10 so I'm not too worried at the moment. Anyone familiar with this could offer some advice?

BTW, is there anything special going on from Apr 11 to ~15? The 7-day trips are all booked out during that time for a 4-share cabin.

Unlikely.
We get 48 hours notice (as agents) and can then post if we need to, so we put them up on our Facebook page.
But unless you are in town and want to chance it then it would be risky.
Its still considered high season, and although it has been a slower season than most, if you can handle not getting on then go for it, but seems a shame to go all the way there and then not get a trip.
I think you will still get on a trip in April, but may not get the cabin or exact date you want.
There are a few Mike Ball specials on offer at the moment. See here
