Gas Booster
Up for auction is a Top Of The Line Hydraulics International two stage/single drive O2 clean gas booster Model 5G-TS-14/30 This unit can be driven from just about any air source including a low pressure compressor, a high pressure cascade storage system or even from scuba cylinders for field use if you desire. 150 PSI Max Drive Gas; Output 9,000 PSI
Booster includes:
1) Muffler for quieter operation
2) Whip to drive the gas booster from a high pressure air source such as a scuba cylinder. Makes using the entire system out in field much easier no electricity required. This whip includes the following:
a. Pressure regulator to reduce high pressure air source to low pressure drive gas. Regulator was designed so it can be attached to a Yoke or DIN valve. (Gas Booster only requires 150 PSI max to drive the system. This 150 PSI drive pressure can generate fill pressures to 9,000 PSI therefore allowing the fill operator to move and put gases in any order and on top of any storage cylinder pressure desired)
b. 150 PSI over pressure protection valve (Blow off valve to protect the booster from accidental over pressurization)
c. Bleed valve
d. 1/4 turn booster control valve for turning the booster on and off
e. Analog supply pressure gauge on the regulator
f. Analog drive pressure gauge on the regulator
g. High pressure quick disconnect for attaching whip to booster
3) Also included is two additional steel braded fill whips. Typically you would use one for the supply cylinder and the other for the receiver cylinder. This is handy for filling one cylinder from another but still needing to boost the gas to achieve rated fill pressures. Each whip includes an analog gauge for monitoring gas pressures, bleeder valve, and whips can be converted from Yoke to DIN connections for cylinder attachment. Also each whip includes a high pressure quick disconnect for attachment to the gas booster.
This system can be used to boost all of your gases allowing you to maximize the usage of your supply cylinders by not returning them with large amounts of unused gas caused by typical cascade operations.
