Taz and I did a couple of dives today.

1st was a scallop dive at Hooks Bay viz was OK

2nd was a photo dive at Gannet Rock.
It was one of the best dives I have had there. Viz was great for there. Heaps of fish life and Nudis galore. A couple of Occtis hiding in holes a a few crays as well.
As soon as I figure out how to shrink video files I will post them too. Got one of a hammerhead on the surface.

thats amazing - the hammerheads.

combined with the mantas, its all going on over here this summer

Nice vid. I had a dive in Wellington today with Plumb Bob...So many cool things to photograph and my camera flooded. Its completely dead. Not a happy camper

Yeah. Its the first I have seen. Although I hear that they do congregate in the inner harbour.
Rumour has it that they breed just off Browns Bay reef...I'm sure it was just a wives tale they told us as kids so we didn't swim out that fat tho...
