I read a thread that is a couple of years old comparing these two computers, but almost everybody chose the Galileo Sol because of the air integration system that Mares didn't have back then. Now that there's air integration system for the Icon HD, which one do you prefer? I'm thinking about buying a computer and I'd really appreciate the feedback.

Also, is there any other computer that you recommend in this category?

When the Mares Icon HD first became AI I bought one and found it was a piece of crap and returned it. Perhaps since then they debugged it. I bought a Galileo Sol and am very happy with it.

Did they ever sort out, amongst many other issues, the appalling battery life on the Mares? Of the two you've listed I'd def choose the Galileo.
