Hi folks,

I started diving in 2020 and bought a new Galileo Luna. I have 19 dives so far, and the Luna worked fine until dive 20. I checked it at the surface, and everything looked good, full battery. I descended ~20ft and found the Luna was off and totally unresponsive to pressing or holding any of the buttons. I aborted the dive and checked the battery compartment when I got home. No moisture inside. I re-inserted the same battery, and the Luna came on like normal, full battery. The log doesn't show that dive attempt.

I'm now having trust issues with this thing and wondering if I should be looking for a new computer (since it's outside of warranty). Appreciate any advice, thank you!

It sounds like the water contact power on option was turned off.
I just checked, and that setting is turned on. It did come on when I hit the water, and I checked it before descending. Also, even if that setting were off, it still should have come on when I repeatedly pressed the power button.
