Hello, due to user error (I left the battery in too long), the battery leaked and now I have some rust/corrosion at the bottom of the battery compartment where the spring is. Can I clean this myself using the usual baking soda or vinegar solutions, or will any liquid I put in the battery compartment find its way into the computer? On my flashes the battery compartment is sealed separate from the internal workings but I don't know if Galileo is the same.

Thanks!

In case anyone wants to know, the vinegar cleaning got rid of all the rust, took it to the LDS for a new battery/o-ring, it's good as new!
