Hello!
I'm just checking offers for liveaboards on the galapagos that include the wolf and Darwin dive sites, as well as Cabo Douglas and punta Vicente roca.
I just saw on liveaboard.com that the galaxy diver ii has special offers with a discount of 30 per cent the next months and they say also 500$ air ticket, however that works.
Unfortunately there are not any reviews about the galaxy diver ii so far. Is this becuase this a new boat or is there anyone who can say something about this boat? It seems like a good offer but of course if the crew or the boat is not good, then I would rather do another boat...
Thanks!

We are going in August 25 and are rolling with Emperor Divers due to previous great experiences.

The Galaxy Diver completed its last trip this week and is being decommissioned. The Galaxy Diver II is being put into service so has no trips or reviews yet. We are booked for November 2024. I assume the same crew will be transitioning to the Galaxy Diver II but this is just a guess. If you are curious, my wife has been in touch with a divemaster on the Galaxy Diver who has been very helpful and I am sure could answer any questions you have. Look him up on Instagram: paulodivergps

As far as the $500 flight goes, the company offers to book the domestic flight on your behalf and charges $60US if you decide to book on your own. We decided to book our own flights as it ended up being cheaper even with their $60US fee.

The Galaxy Diver 2 takes over since there is only 1 permit for operation, the diver 2 is bigger , faster and probably the nicest liveaboard in the Galapagos, maiden voyage june 19-26 2024 and the company owner is being 17 years in business. They launched other luxury catamaran earlier this year on time and you will be fine
Paulo and two other dive masters are great and professional , they are still with Galaxy Diver 2 and leading groups but just for your information they are free lance and the owners make sure guides are the best
If you need more information, images , documentation and reviews links, passengers comment cards feel free to contact me at dive@galagents.com
I see someone is very confused replying to you in another comment
Galaxy Orion is the former Galaxy diver 1 is still in Galapagos but changed name and routes
- tickets are 450 usd with the company and include 2 checked bags of 23kgs , the price is given by the airline not the liveaboard owner. And handling fee is paid as we want to have the group at the same time on day 1. Airlines offer good pricing but read carefully the terms as they charge you extra money at the aIrport ( im happy to see your eticket anf make sure you did great) our business isnt selling air tickets but great customer service
- Galagents as company is being 17 years in business , we own and operate trips in the Galapagos, i guess we are doing good things that we are growing fast and organically, we give back to the community and have travel agencies and partners around the globe that are happy to share with you their experience with the Galapagos liveaboards of Galagents

Hello!

The Galaxy Diver II is a brand new boat and replaced the original Galaxy Diver. I’ve been on the Galaxy Diver and can confirm the excellent service, facilities and of course the diving (world class!)

You can read my personal experience here:Galaxy Diver Liveaboard - My Trip Review

I’m also going back in 2026 to see what the Galaxy Diver II is like, but I am super confident it’ll be even better than the Galaxy Diver I!!
