I am interested in taking a diving trip to the Galapagos Islands. Does anyone have any recommendations for live aboard cruises etc.? In addition, I don't have too many dives under my belt and many websites recommend Galapagos diving for advanced divers. Is that true?

Yes, liveaboard diving is generally for those who can handle stong current, direct negative entry and can pretty much look after themselves. There are lots of reports. I suggest you search on Galapagos, most people have had good experience with their operator, I had a great time on Lammeraw.
