Galapagos, Cocos in Febuary or March, or other ideas for that time?

I am in this Air Force and begin flight school in April. I want to take a dive trip in either february or april. I was looking at the Galapagos & Cocos but it looks like this may not be the best time of year. What can I expect that time of year, I want to see big things, hammerheads, whale sharks etc. I can do about a 20 day trip. I can't go sooner because I wont have the leave.
