As per the latest directive from the Galapagos National Park, it seems there will be some changes for 2013:
1) All liveaboards will have the same itineraries which will no longer include Punta Vicente Roca.
2) Rebreathers will be officially permitted as long as they remain with a group, limit the dive profile to 1 hour and have a Marine Reserve Guide who is certified in the same type of rebreather the diver is diving.
3) Once again up to 4 dives a day are permitted but now, 1 of those can be a night dive. On one page that lists all permitted dive sites, night dives are limited to Islote Albany and Cabo Marshall, however, on another page, they were clear to spell out designated times of night dives at Darwin and Wolf in order to stagger groups.
4) And though they spell out the same itinerary for everyone, they also list additional permitted dive sites.
