*sigh*

well, I just received my new fins (APS mantarays) in the mail, I scheduled a dive for this Saturday, and then DOH!!! I get a flippin cold!

hopefully it'll subside enough so that I can equalize satisfactorily by Saturday, otherwise I'll have to cancel. This one isn't one of the worst I've ever had, so there's hope!

That sucks, I know this is something I worry about since I get a lot of colds. I've dove with minor colds without issue (not sure how safe this was though). But I know from flying that having a bad cold really does screw with equalization: during the flight my ears killed while landing, and after I couldn't hear correctly for 4 or 5 days. So just be careful.

I haven't even had a runny nose since I startd getting pneumonia shots about 10 years ago.
