G9 wide angle lens question

Do you need to buy the "flat port" to use the wide angle lens?

how is it different than the one that comes on the ikelite G9 case?

is it easy to switch out those lens ports? i can't see where the current one is removable.

Any limitations with using the flat port without the wide angle lens?... i live in the land of low visibility so never zoom in.

You do need to purchase the flat port to use the WA lens. There is not much difference that I can see, but then again, I am just new at this. The lens ports are switched by using a metal bar that you insert cross-wise in the port through holes that are drilled into the side. The bar can then be used as leverage to unscrew the port. It is not hard. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can. I am not that mechanically inclined and I figured it out by myself (i.e. no help required from husband). I never tried using the flat port without the WA lens.
