I'm a total newby to UW photo. I bought a G9 and the canon WP-DC21 housing.When I tried to place the G9 in the housing it seems that the extended grip on the right side of the camera is keeping it from laying in properly.Can the grip be removed or how and what am I doing wrong.

Help....................
 
The "original" G9, w/o additional grip should fit into the housing w/o fuss...
