ok folks im going for a shore dive tommorrow and im bring my g9 and ys110 i havent used it yet can anyone tell me what a good place to start with the settings? thank you all for your help

Read up on how to control the white balance settings. Also, search in SB on the G9. Some of the threads show photos and the settings. Good Luck

Go to the pool now, bring small object, set G9 to manual with 1/160 or 1/250 @ f8, set the strobe into manual, makro on, take pictures from 0.2, 0.5 and 1 m - adjust the strobe power for proper exposure, make a note for each setting. You may need to add or reduce 1 or 2 step tommorow.
For farther & larger object set to larger aperture say 2.8; makro off.
WB to auto or daylight.

For uw scene with natural light, makro off, Tv 1/60 and manual WB.
