Hi,

I started to dive with a G2 a few weeks ago and I'm just bluffed how visible the TFT screen is! This is just amazing!! :thumb:

Unfortunately, my eyes have the age of my bones...or not? :D

When I start the dive, I have this wonderful "LIGHT" screen on the display; it is absolutely great and easily readable. But "when the dive requires decompression and more information must be shown on the display, the display changes automatically to the Classic configuration" (from the manual).

The "CLASSIC" screen is still fine but there is some info I personally don't need to see there and where I would prefer to place less and more readable information.

I was wondering if there would be a way to create customized screens.

Would this be an option in the future?

Roger

It could be done with a firmware update but I doubt you’ll get anywhere with Scubapro. I did find that going from green to blue color scheme improves readability.

I agree. The blue screen is more readable however I still decided to go with a mask with prescription readers and I love it.

Thanks guys,

I still hope one day SCUBAPRO (UWATEC) will offer a "screen configurator" software.

Those incredible TFT displays offer so much possibilities that I would a shame to miss the opportunity of using it at it's best.

Let's wait and...see
