G12 in Patima G11 housing?

My G11 has a spot in the right upper corner and i guess it's some dirt/mold/fungus on the sensor.
I think to change it with a G12 but i am not sure if the G12 will fit my PATIMA G11 housing because of the front wheel.
Does somebody tried that and can tell me if the G12 is usable without having access to the front wheel?

thank you for your link but it's not answering my question as:
1° i am talking of a G11 and G12
2° a PATIMA G11 housing who has the rear dial (the one between around the cursor keys) , but NOT the front dial.
3° i don't know if the size is the same that the G12 will fit the G11 housing.

As i don't know if i can use the camera only with the rear comands and if the camer fit the housing i am still stuck with that.
