Future Diver checking in to say hello!

My name is Courtney, I am from central Florida. I watched my mom learn SCUBA when I was a teenager and wanted to learn too. I have been on and off on the idea of learning for more than 15 years now. Next year I am finally going to take that leap. I am doing some learning before then so that I am better prepared when I do go to actually learn. Any central Florida divers are welcome to give me tips and pointers and recommendations on places to learn and buy from. I won't be able to start until sometime next year, but it always helps to prepare and gather information before setting out! Thanks already for all the information I have found in this site, very helpful so far.

Poke around the forums in the New Divers section to read how the initial training is going for other people, and for sure find the Florida regional forum to see what's going on in the diving world near you. By the time you get to your actual class, it'll all seem familiar to you. Have fun!
