There are lots of different opinions on this topic, but I'm curious to hear about your experience. I'm getting ready to book flights for a 2019 Bali trip.
Should I plan to dive around the July full moon to improve my chances of seeing a Mola Mola in Crystal Bay? Or does it not really matter?
Is August better than July? (But I can't make the August full moon date)
Is there a difference with the number of tourists on the Island between July and August?
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

August - September is the best time to see mola-mola on Crystal Bay.
I dived there in the end of September - it was amazing, 4 mola-mola during one dive. Don`t care about moon phase.
Water temperature was about 22-23 `C, so be prepared for this (at same time in Tulamben was 27-28 `C)
