Great story; but I am curious how some of the divers equalize in FFMs, considering that movement seems limited among a few of them; or have they been only limited to pool use?

The nose block takes minimal movement when you have the correct size. I have one installed but find it much easier to equalize using a ffm without doing anything special since you don't have to bite down on a reg.

Are you referring to the standard nose block in FFMs; or the supplemental ones that I occasionally see — sort of a clip?

Great questions. the Diveheart team is trained how to help individuals who use a full face mask to equalize. no doubt, there is a lot to it and no one should try it without the proper training and adaptive certifications. but that's what we do in the pool and Openwater. Here is a link to our training Diveheart Courses - Diveheart check it out when you have time :)

We have used the AGA and the Ocean Reef masks. OTS as well.
we're not that familiar with other brands like Kirby Morgan or others but I'm sure a thorough orientation and with the appropriate training many types of ffm might be appropriate to use with adaptive divers.

Nose block for me.
