From New Orleans Louisiana

Hi everyone,

I am so glad to find this place. It is so nice to know that so many people help each other with common interests. I live in Metairie, LA which is a part of the New Orleans Metropolitan area. I would love to get to know many of you guys and become friends with.

I just got my certification with SSI in Korea. It was in December 2002. Boy, wasn't it cold!. I almost got frozen when I went to the test diving trip. I loved it so much though. I was laughing under the water with unbelivable excitement. My buddy thought I was crying being so cold. My team had a hard time picking me up to the boat because I was laughing so hard.

I just got my C-5050 camera and housing too. I cannot wait to take some pictures of fish with the camera. I will upload pictures as soon as I get some.


It is so nice meeting you everyone. I will have many many questions as I dive more and more.

There are quite a few members in the panhandle, you should be able to get some feedback on diving the Fla gulf with no problem.
I may also try out the gulf this summer(after I get back from Key Largo)

I'm from Metairie too! Actually I grew up in New Orleans East, but moved to Metairie. I live in upstate NY now, but it's nice to see. Maybe next time I go visit home we can go diving
