A friend in upstate SC, USA had a bunch of their gear stolen. I have attached a photo with the list of items.

Don’t know if it will but might help people to BOLO with a general location of where it was stolen from.

Wow. People are ridiculous. It would be very sad if another diver stole it and not just someone who is an opportunist looking for quick cash.

To make a long story short - once we were diving in Mexico, had to stop our pickup truck on the side of the road to re-pack our dive gear. We were goofing around and distracted and we left $3,000 of dive gear sitting on the side of the road when we drove off.

We ended up cancelling our dives for the day, drove around town, went to lunch, dinner, drinks -- and it wasn't until that evening that we discovered that we were missing a lot of dive gear.

We re-traced our steps for the day, and went back to the side of the road where we had re-packed the gear. A local came out of his house 1/4-mile down the road to give us our missing dive gear. He wouldn't even take a $50 reward.
