Today's topside conditions at 8:30 am. The cloud drift from Maui to Kaho'olawe is nicknamed the "Makena Cloud". It occurs almost every day but usually not this early. It somewhat affects the visibilty due to the loss of the sunlight.

The boxfish is cool. The shadow really works for it.

I agree with Dee - the Boxfish's shadow is really effective. Note to self: Strobe for Christmas...

I also like the Butterflyfish parade - nicely framed.

I'm just amazed how you got those racoon butterflyfish to pose Chorus-line style for you. Beautiful cloud shot. Is that Molokini Crater in the right just before Kaho'olawe?

Yes, that is Molokini Crater to the front right of Kaho'olawe.
