- Finally got around to scanning them. More tripod/self-portrait shots about 50 feet deep. The current was pretty strong and kept "blowing" the tripod over. I had to stick the legs pretty far down into the sand to get it to stand up. I had my homemade 50-watt video light that I was using as a flashlight, but somehow it slipped off my wrist and floated up and away in the current. Eventually it will wash up on a beach and someone will call in a bomb alert.
