Hi,
I'm trying to figure out weather one is allowed to spear carp with a pole spear (Hawaian sling) in the Deleware river (specifically in the Del. Water Gap) while on scuba. I tried
reading the regulations for both NJ and PA but they are too ambigious. The PA one says that one is allowed to use a non-mechanicaly proppeled spear to take carp in the delaware. It does not define what is a non-mechanical spear nor weather this can be done on scuba. If anybody has some info on this or in general on freshwater spearfishing opertunities in the NJ/NY/PA area, I would greatly appreciate it.
