So what're the dimensions on the 1000?

Overall length 5.5 inches head diameter about 1.5inches, body diameter 1.125 or so. That's with a tape measure. My calipers are still packed from the show. Ambidextrous magnetic reed switch. Rotate the ring and light comes on. The head never comes off. Load the battery through the tailcap. And of course double oring sealed.

Arrived today - amazingly quick delivery. Tossed the battery on the charger and it lights up the garage as well as my other 1000 lumen light...that's four times the size. I'll have to grab a Sunday night dive to check it out and report, but it seems solidly built, simple to operate, and again...very bright.

Congrats on your dealership, Jim. I used a Karik5000 on 2 separate cave dives-the first in Hart Springs and the second at Ginnie Springs. Bright, that's for sure.
