Hi all,

Normally wouldn't head to Jamaica for dive destination, but having been awarded a free trip through my husband's work, who's to complain? Staying at Ritz Carlton Rose Hall in Montego Bay in January. If you know a good dive op, or sites not to miss, I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hey Cheryl M.,

The Ritz Carlton Rose Hall is a very, very nice hotel, 5 stars and all that.
When you get there take a look at the marble and ceramic inserts on the driveway there.
If you're into golf they have a nice golf course there.
As for diving I'd recommend sites in the Montego Bay marine park, i've personally done Spanish Anchor and Basket Reef there.
Hanni's reef is a really nice shore dive site right outside Montego Bay in Reading.
It's opposite a hotel called Chalet Caribe.

Dove once with a dive op in Montego Bay, but frankly I wouldn't recommend them, although one of the sites, Chubb reef had masses of Bermuda Chubb and the biggest Moray eel i've ever seen.
If you're in Mobay you have to dive Widowmaker's it's @#$! sweet, sponges galore

As for dive ops hmm personally don't have any experience with the ones listed below but they seem to be on the up and up so to speak.
