Hi every one

I am planning to bring free divers next winter in Honduras or Belize.
I will be there all February 2011, but if some people have info about these places, that's would be great.
-Is the water clear? temperature? current, in winter?
-Can you rich dive sites from shore with a boat, including sites with 60 meters depth?
Any others info welcome.
Thank's
Christophe

The diving conditions are similar in Roatan, Honduras and Belize.
Water is very clear.
Temperature that time of year will be 76-78F most likely.
Not much current in either place other than cuts in the reef during tide changes. There is current on the ends of the atholls in Belize also but nothing you can't swim against.
The dive sites are almost all out over the barrier reef. The drop off is very steep and goes much deeper than 60 meters.

Hi Hank

Thank's for these infos.
I heard that Belize is really great, except that because of the riff, deep sites are quiet far away.
Two questions:
-Where do you think would be the best to have the shop and be the closest of deep dive sites (60 metres +) but in the mean time been in a touristic area:
-On the shore in town, at Ambergis keys, or St Pedro island, or others place?
-And how long would be the trip with a slow fishing boat type?

Thank';s for your time
Christophe
