Free airfare, hotel, and dive trips.

That’s right! Free airfare to Cozumel, free hotel stays, and free dive trips… PLUS free BCD, free regulator, free depth gauge, free octopus, free GoPro, free condo stays, free dinners and free admissions to Chankanaab Park!

What do you have to do to get one or more of these prizes?

Submit a 15 to 30 second video clip of a sea creature that you videoed in Cozumel to the Cozumel Museum’s underwater video contest. It is free to enter and you can send as many entries as you want. If accepted, your video will be one of the two hundred chosen to be shown daily on a permanent basis in the new museum’s Virtual Aquarium Gallery, with your name credited as videographer.

For more detailed information and instructions on how and where to send the entry, see:

Video Contest - Cozumel Museum

I think I would rather win 2nd prize than 1st. How much diving are you going to be able to squeeze in to a 2 night, 3 day trip? You land, have your no-dive day, then you go home. This octopus listed in the 2nd prize, do I need to provide a salt water tank for him or is that included? (That's a joke, if you're wondering)

Now, where did I save those videos of that eagle ray racing the loggerhe... perhaps I've said too much.

I gotta find that clip of the pair of seahorses mating with their tails wrapped around that of a stingray sleeping on the bottom while a turtle and green moray watched from each side all under the shade provided by a cruising eagle ray.

I thought that ended last December and that I didn't win anything. There is still hope.

I did too so I checked and it seems it was always Dec 31, 2018. I think because the first call was posted last October we just remembered end of year deadline and assumed it was end of the current year.

VERY COOL!! .... got some editing to do!!! :D

Submitted my giant squid egg mass. My mail account wouldn't let me upload the file as it was too large. However, Ric Hajovsky who is overseeing the submissions turned me on to the free WeTransfer site they use.

WeTransfer

Quick and easy transfer of files too large for upload if you are limited by your email provider.
