Just bought a set top/bottoms of 4E Arctic undergarments. I'm hoping to layer over my hollis AUG 260 when its really cold. Unfortunately, I wont be able to get a dive or two in to get weighting down before I go dive some wrecks in lake superior. Wondering how much extra weight to estimate? I'm 20lbs with my drysuit and aug260, for reference.

I need ~14 lbs more for the Base+Arctic layers compared to the base layer alone. Confirmed this with 14 lbs more for Arctic+Xerotherm compared to Xerotherms alone. (Using XL top, L bottoms)

I should totally do that for future reference, get in with just base layer and go from there. Need to plan a couple dives for that

The point of the Arctics is to provide insulation and keep air between your body and the cold water. So it will add a few kg/pounds as you want to have plenty of air in your suit compared with warmer water.
