What is the reason and rationale for the Women’s Forum having the notice: it’s the women’s forum?

I think that was a result of some comments in a recent, and recently closed, thread titled something like "men posting in the women's forum, good or bad ???"
In that thread, a number of people indicated that they did not know they were in the women's forum. Someone suggested an extra reminder, and......

I need an extra reminder apparently some don't like my views in there. . .

Most of SB users read threads through "new posts" button. When you see the list then there is no notification that certain thread is in Women View. All you see is "diving related" or "non diving related". So many don't know where they post.
Some women found some posts offensive. probably if everybody knew they were in women views would not post what they wrote.
So this was the reason of additional notification
