Any of you guys nuts about F1? If so what team do you support. Just spent a fantastic weekend at a race circuit called Rockingham near Corby, England, for 'Thunder at the Rock' having fun with the Minardi Team. They are all great boys, they need lots of support, visit their website at www.minardi.it/eng.

Then danced the night away to a great English rock band called 'The Darkness' Not heard of them yet? YOU WILL DO SOON!!! THEY'RE GONNA BE HUGE..............

Mostly the left-hand turn circuit here (NECK-CAR). Lemmis hijack the place and inject some motor culture:

For the few of us who dig it (albeit from several countries away) F1 is the true motorsport. A sad day when they dumbed down Long Beach to Indy.

Anyway, to answer your question - Alain Prost was and will always be THE man to me. Currently, its Michael (duh...)

I once named a cat Alain - only because I don't have kids. He's the Michael Jordon of F1.

You may return to turning left.

I thought when we lost a Mika for a Kimi we were going to have some serious issues...

But, Raikkonen is only 2 points behind the shoe maker...so we will see what happens in a couple of weeks at Monza.

Long live Coulthard!

Chris

love that "shoe-maker" hahahaha

but Renault are doing so well this season that it a refreshing change, and it's good to see that it's not a red car first all the time, last season was so boring as it was always a race for second.

I really hope Juan Pablo Montoya can make it all the way to the finish and stop Michael from winning a 6th Chamionship.

I really think that Coulthard is not taking enough risk in his driving, he has some hard work to do if he is going to continue to drive for a top team. Kimi has shown that he is miles ahead as a driver, and what should have been a great year for him had a hiccup with Ralf's stupid effort recently. but it looks like he's back on track and up there at the end.

Rubens is so unlucky, he's a great driver and should be getting better results but the luck has not gone his way. Lets hope he has a better year next time.

I see Kimi taking top driver spot and David fighting with Villeneuve for a job in just a few years.

Barrichello has to be the most unlucky ALIVE driver I have ever seen. I just love to watch the little guy get emotional whenever he does hit the podium.

I used to live only a few hundred kilometers from Hockenheim and had the chance to drive the circuit once. What a cool ride. We had access to a V-4 Ford Taunus---Not Taurus---to take three laps around the track. Unforgetable!

Honda and Toyota are doing so well this year with powerplants, I would not be surprised to see them showing up in "The Good Ole Boys" races really soon.

Toyota has a rice burner they're entering into the truck season next year. I have mixed emotions about it....but if they end up whomping some arse, it's going to be a good thing for the sport.

Its nice to see this has had some replies. They ran 'ASCAR's over the weekend also, which I think is the UK equivalent to NASCAR. The cars were amazing, the chevvy's sounded as sweet as nuts.

I for one am a big fan of Jos Verstappen and Justin Wilson. Justin has now gone off to drive for Jaguar and he'll do great things.

I've been very fortunate to have met Juan PM, Justin Wilson, and Paul Stoddard. There's nothing like the sound and smells of a racing car. The Minardi Team have 2 seater racing cars and auction the passenger seat's for charity. you can read all about thier day on the website. It was COOOLLLL!
