Hello to all:

I've been lurking here for a bit and find the good
give and take between divers very interesting and
informative. I wish you all great diving.

I was first certified in San Diego in 1972. I have
about 700-800 dives under my weightbelt. Most
of my diving has been local here in California. I have
been in Cozumel, HI, The Caymans, Mexico, and some
great diving in New Jersey and Puget Sound. There
are so many dives still to make.

Michael,
Welcome. Now that you have come in out of the dark, drop on down to the NothAmerica/United States/California Kelp Divers/SoCal section and join in. Amoung other things we post dive reports and local conditions and issues. Lots of San Diego people there too.

Thank you for the invite-I have been reading the CA thread with
great interest. My first dives were in La Jolla cove and along
the coast at Bird Rock and the north end of Wind'N Sea beach.
We often took small boats to the Point Loma Kelp beds. The
diving in Mexico was also great. California Kelp diving is still
my favorite.
