Force Fin keepers

I was wondering where would be the best place attach the keepers on my FF pro with a bungie strap? I am not sure where to attach them. any suggestions or ideas please.

on the bungie on the back of the heel pad, its about the only place to put them,

question for you though, have you actually been able to kick them off??

Thanks for the post.
You have two options and this depends on the size of your fin.
As meesier42 wrote there is a loop where the bungie goes through the heel pad on the back of the heel pad. You can thread the leash loop through that loop.
Another option you might try is securing the leash loop around the molded foot pocket and then attach the webbing around your ankle. It most likely will fit, but you need to test this out and make sure your ankle will be unrestricted in movement. I have used it this way in certian situations and it will work.
Curious are you diving, body surfing, or fishing?

Blair I have done as you and messier suggested and attached it to the heel strap, but I noticed it was not quite long enough for me when I was diving this weekend. So what I decided to do was use some type III nylon cord (Parachute Cord) and extended the the loop by about 4 inches and it seems to work ok now. I could not fit the cord though the loop along with the bungie so I decided to wrap it around the bungie on both sides of the webbing in a prusick manner and then had to ends come off and I tied them off togther and then attached the fin keeper to that. So now I have a way even longer to pull on the cord and way of keeping it attached to me. I am diving and taking classes for my advanced open water certification. We are doing shore dives and with the weights and 13 mm of wet suit I am wearing it is a bit hard stand or wade and bend over in water to put the fins on. The wet suit I am wearing is a two piece 6.5 mm so my core is covered by 13mm of wet suit and being some what round it is difficult to put the fins on. When I am at the pool for class they are easy and not problem to put on. Thanks for all of your help guys.

Can someone explain to me exactly how the fin keeper is used? Seems to me it just slows down donning and removing the fins.

I do have a minor problem with my bungee strap as the hold button on the strap tends to slip and I'm afraid to lose a fin when I don or remove the strap by the button. I was thinking of tying a small loop of bungee cord to the Force Fin bungee strap, to be able to loop my fingers or hand through and give a more solid grasp.

In fact I did lose a Force Fin Pro once on climbing a boat ladder when the plastic hold button slipped from my hand.

Here's a photo of my bungee loop addition to the Force Fin Bungee strap. It's a 3/16 inch loop of bungee cord available at REI. Now I can put my gloved hand through the loop and make a solid grasp so the fin cannot slip out.

HATUL, nice layout. SAMBOLINO44 would like this idea since it would stop the heel pad from slipping to the sides. We could get rid of the nylon-knob. I still owe SAMBOLINO44 a sample, so I will give it a try. Thanks, Best Bob
